Dear Patients

Following the Government announcement concerning COVID-19 on the 23rd March 2020, the practice shall be moving to an “emergencies only” basis until the Government and Healthcare advice relaxes restrictions.

Over the coming days we shall be rescheduling all upcoming routine inspections and treatments to a future date. You do not need to contact us, we shall be in touch as we work through the forward appointment calendar. Please be assured as soon as the Government restrictions ease and Chief Dental Officer’s guidelines allow we shall return to our normal service.

Emergency Treatment
If you feel that you need emergency treatment please follow the procedures outlined below. We shall be providing an Emergency Service only during the current restrictions.

In the first instance, please contact the surgery by telephone on 01684 563 723. Please call between 9:00am and 1:00pm Monday to Friday. Outside these hours please leave a message on the answerphone.

PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE IN PERSON UNLESS YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY CONTACTED US AND BEEN GIVEN AN APPOINTMENT TIME TO ATTEND

You will appreciate that as a dental practice we work in an environment where the prevention of the spread of a whole range of infections is woven into everything that we do. We are paying particular attention to the latest government guidance on the transmission of coronavirus and these temporary arrangements are being put in place for the protection of all our patients, staff and the wider community.

If you have an emergency?
Please contact us as above. We are here to help.

We will discuss your problem with you, provide a telephone triage consultation and recommend the best course of action. Please rest assured if we are able to undertake any emergency treatment you require then we shall.

It is very important that if you or anyone in your household is showing symptoms of a high temperature or a continuous cough that you advise us during the telephone consultation.

We are continuously reviewing the situation and following the advice of the Government and the Chief Dental Officer.

As a team, we are doing everything we possibly can to remain fit, well and able to work so that we can continue our usual high standard of dental care for you when we return.

Thank you for your support, and stay safe, The Team at 202 Dental
