We are pleased to say the practice is maintaining its services under the current Government and Healthcare guidelines and will remain open.
Due to the nature of coronavirus we have had to alter how the practice runs and your patient journey through it. This is to ensure your safety and that of our staff.
PLEASE DO NOT COME TO THE PRACTICE IN PERSON UNLESS YOU HAVE PREVIOUSLY CONTACTED US AND BEEN GIVEN AN APPOINTMENT TIME TO ATTEND
The practice will only be open to people with scheduled appointments. We ask all other enquiries to be made via phone or email first. It is very important that if you or anyone in your household is showing symptoms of a high temperature, a continuous cough, or a loss of taste or smell that you advise us before attending the practice.
We ask patients to read our 202 Dental Patient Journey
before attending the practice for an appointment.
The treatments available at the practice are currently reduced due to the associated risk levels. We are continuously reviewing the situation and following the advice of the Government, the Chief Dental Officer, and the associated Professional Healthcare Bodies. We hope to offer a wider range of treatments as the general coronavirus risk level reduces and we are able to facilitate them. We look forward to resuming a normal service.
You will appreciate that as a dental practice we work in an environment where the prevention of the spread of a whole range of infections is woven into everything that we do. We are paying particular attention to the latest government and healthcare guidance on the transmission of coronavirus and these temporary arrangements are being put in place for the protection of all our patients, staff and the wider community.
Due to the extra measures and precautions now required all of our appointment times have been extended to a minimum of 30 minutes. Our booking schedule has been adapted to accommodate this. Any patients with urgent problems are still being prioritised. We'd like to thank patients for their patience and understanding in managing their appointments..
If you feel that you need emergency treatment please contact the surgery by telephone on 01684 563 723. We will discuss your problem with you, provide a telephone triage consultation and recommend the best course of action. We are here to help.
Thank you for your support, and stay safe,
The Team at 202 Dental
